Action not being triggered

Hey there,

I need some help to trigger an action each time a form is saved. The action sends an email with parent and child information. The problem is that action is not being triggered automatically when I save a new record. It only works if you click the action.

I have followed what says in this article https://help.appsheet.com/en/articles/961707-workflow but when my form is saved email is not fired.

For me it sounds that you should trigger the action from Parent’s form view as an Event action. Have you tried that?

Open the Parent form view’s definition. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see that option.

Hey, I managed to resolve it! I was trying to trigger the action with form saved, but was not using my slice for that form. Thanks forr answering
