I created an action that reverse links a column back to a view that references it. I used Display Inline as it’s prominence, attached to column “Series”, and it works perfectly in Deck and Detail view, but in Table view it overrides the “Series” value it’s attached to. Any ideas here?
Hi @Nick_Neumann,
I believe when you have an inline action attached to a column, it does not display the column value as well as header name in table view but just dispays the action icon.
Please take a look at the following feature request and discussion thread. Please upvote suitably.
[Option for Inline-attached actions to NOT replace column's value/header in Table view](https://community.appsheet.com/t/option-for-inline-attached-actions-to-not-replace-columns-value-header-in-table-view/18375) Feature Requests
Got an address column in my table, and an auto-generated view-map action that is attached inline. Looks fine in detail view: [image] But hides the address in table view, which is no good because that’s one of the main things that the user looks at to determine which record they are seeing. [image] Attaching the action to another column would stop it from showing in the right spot in the detail view. This has bugged me for a very long time, just now getting around to posting an actual feature…
In this regard, as a side note , please also refer the section Displaying column headers in the article below to know certain columns types that have only icons displayed in the table view.
