According to the installation requirements document, you have to install or update Network Security Service package in advance on linux nodes.

Does anyone know why this package is needed and which components use it?
Actually, we operate our production environment with NSS version 3.15.1, which is older than the required version but face any issues until now.

Thanks for your advice.
I can update NSS from redhat network, if it is needed, because I have proper subscription license.
Some of the apigee components require Nss and nss util package for its functioning.
I want to know more detail about Which components use NSS and What for.
Could you explain in detail about that?
