It evens shows the “Job tracker” sheet doing two things:
Adding rows at the beggining of the range/table instead of the bottom and automatically deleting blank rows.
Adding an “ID Number” that’s sequential, something even the docs advice you not to do.
I’m not mad, I’m just dissapointed about the fact that it’s misleading.
If I’m new to a platform, I want to see how it works from their webpage and if I were new to AppSheet, this new page would make me feel more engage than the real product
This is clearly designed by the marketing department, by someone who probably never opened the AppSheet editor in their life.
@SkrOYC this is a perfect example of the Googlefication of AppSheet, which I know from your other posts you’re not a fan of. I agree that if I were a new user to AppSheet and my expectations were set from that webpage, I would be severely disappointed with the actual product.
The reality is that Appsheet isn’t perfect, but for what it’s doing it’s ok. This webpage sets unrealistic expectations. @lizlynch maybe the development team could have some influence on the marketing to ensure that what they are promoting is a accurate depiction of the product?
And thank you for once again for being responsive, and making us feel that our suggestions and feedback aren’t just going into the big black hole of Google “customer support”!
Of course!! I’ve mentioned this before, but we appreciate so much how engaged this Community is with AppSheet, and your interest and dedication to make it better! Your feedback provides us with great insights into how to improve the product and user experience. So, thank YOU!
