We are currently using the following model in a production application through Vertex AI:

I would like to clarify the official lifecycle of this model.

Could you please confirm:

  1. What is the current deprecation date for gemini-3-flash-preview on Vertex AI?
  2. What is the planned retirement / shutdown date?
  3. Will Google provide a specific notice before the endpoint is retired?
  4. Is there a GA successor model that we should migrate to?
  5. When the preview model is retired, will Google automatically redirect it to a newer model, or will we need to change the model ID in our application?
  6. Does the lifecycle of gemini-3-flash-preview differ between Vertex AI and the Gemini API?
  7. Where is the official documentation that tracks the lifecycle and retirement date for this specific model?

We are using this model in production, so we need to understand the expected migration timeline and plan our testing before the current endpoint becomes unavailable.
