Variable Input didn't show up in Data Transformer

Hi all,

I want to use the data transformer in the application integration. If I add a variable as an input, it doesn’t show up in the diagram.

Nevertheless they are there if I checked in the script

Is it some bug in the diagram part?

Yes, this looks like a UI bug — the variable is present in the script but missing in the diagram view.

I recommend:

  • Refreshing the browser or reopening the transformer task.

  • Checking if using a different browser helps.

  • Reporting this to Google Cloud Support, as the script confirms the variable is correctly added.

Thank you for getting back to me.

Looks like refreshing and changing the browser didn’t help.
However, if I created the new integration the UI appears fine.

Do you know if this is because of some specific application integration setting that I should check?

Hi @nickodemusrr , Thanks for clarifying! Since creating a new integration fixes the issue, it’s likely just a small corruption or glitch in the old integration — not a specific setting.

I’d recommend continuing with the new integration or duplicating it if needed. If this happens often, it’s worth reporting to Google Cloud Support so they can investigate why the old one broke.
