User settings generates multiple "Settings" entries under "Menu Navigation"

,

Normally, when User settings is enabled, a single entry as “Settings” is automatically added to MenuNavigation, but in my case, the number of entries is increasing, and now there are 7 settings. I am having trouble finding a way to remove the extra entries.

The following is a description of what I have observed.

  1. Even when I turned off all the “Show?” settings in User settings Table(_Per User Settings), there were still multiple entries of “Settings” under MenuNavigation.

  2. In the work screen, there is only one settings view, even there are multiple entries in the preview screen and in the actual app.

  3. The display names of the items that have increased automatically are “Settings”(several of), “Settings2”, “Settings22”, “Settings22222”,etc.

  4. If I click on the name of the view that appears at the bottom of the preview screen in selecting Settings item, the work screen does not move to the contents of the View.(It may show that such the view name does not exist actually..)

  5. In the view settings, if I change the view name in the middle area of the work screen, the view name on the left pane is also reflected, but even if I change the “Display Name” of the Settings, the name of the MenuNavigation entry in the left pane is not linked.

  6. I tried to copy the application, but could not solve the problem. (I copied it within my account).

Please let me know if there is a better solution. Thank you in advance.

If you have already copied the app then try to restore the old version(Before enable the User Settings) in your first application and try to have only one user settings.

Or alternatively, please try deleting the system generated “Settings” view till all the duplicate “Settings” views are deleted. Related post below. So if you have 6 duplicates, you may need to delete system generated “Settings” view 6 times till only the last one (7th) remains.

Unfortunately, I did not make a copy before UserSettings became multiple. It might be a good idea to make copies frequently.

Thanks for the reply.
You helped me find an identical question that I had in the past. It was very helpful.

I had tried in the past to DELETE Settings in the UX → Views option screen, but not repeatedly.

Following the past Q&A,I was able to delete all of them by repeating DELETE SETTINGS and SAVE over and over!
The first time, the Settings were automatically added, but every odd number of times an extra Settings View seemed to appear and I was able to Delete.

Successfully solved the problem. Thank you very much!
