Urgent: Suspension of Google Cloud Project

Dear Community,

My Google Cloud Project has been suspended for over two weeks due to an alleged phishing issue. According to the warning message, phishing was detected, but I have filed an appeal explaining that there is no phishing on the website and that the project is safe. Nothing changed.

I received the following response:

“Dear Developer,
Thank you for your follow up. A member of our team will review the appeal for your Google Cloud Project and, in most cases, get back to you within two business days.
If you would like to request the removal of content from Google’s services due to a legal issue, please submit a request using the webform at this Legal Help page.”

It has now been more than two weeks since my project was suspended. During this time, people have been unable to access the project website, which places a critical burden on my work.

Could you please provide me with an update on the status of my appeal and let me know what further steps I can take to expedite the review process?

Thank you very much for your support.

I ran into the same issue. I can’t wait a month. It’s time to host with someone else.

It has been 2 to nearly 3 months for us.

Is only one Google Cloud project affected, or is the entire GCP account impacted? Have you tried contacting the support team again?

If you have waited more than two weeks, the standard “Support” routes are likely stalled. You can try the Google Cloud Community escalation:

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Security Community.

  2. Post your Project ID (NOT your Project Name) and the Case ID from your email.

  3. Community Managers (who are Google employees) often monitor these threads to “nudge” stuck abuse tickets into a human’s hands.
