Dear AppSheet Support Team,
I am reaching out to request assistance regarding a block on my account that is preventing me from running my application, even in prototype mode.
Context of the situation:
-
I was running an application in prototype/development mode.
-
Due to internal team coordination testing, we unexpectedly exceeded the monthly user limit, which understandably led to the application being temporarily blocked.
The issue I am facing now: To resolve this internally and return to a testing environment prior to the plan purchase, I created a clean copy of the application to resume development with a single user (myself). However, the newly copied application is completely blocked as well.
When attempting to access it, I receive the following error message (also attached as a screenshot): "Unable to fetch app definition. Your app is blocked because a plan update is needed.
Inside the editor, it also alerts me that my Security Filters require a Core Subscription. It seems the user-limit block from the original app has triggered some hard restriction across my development account, preventing me from testing even a cloned version of my project.
My questions/requests:
-
Could you please help me release or reset the block on this new copy (or the original app) so I can continue testing it as a personal prototype (under the 10-user limit)?
-
Have the specifications for Security Filters changed recently? Are they no longer allowed during the free prototype/testing phase?
-
Are there any other features that have recently changed and become paid-only? I would like to know if other advanced settings are now causing immediate blocks on prototype accounts so I can clean up my application configuration accordingly.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Samuel R
