According to Google’s documentation here https://cloud.google.com/compute/resource-usage#cpu_quota the committed CPU quota name for C4A compute engine types is “Committed_C4A_CPUS”.
I need to increase this quota because I want to create a committed use discount for some C4A compute engine instances, but the quota metric doesn’t appear on my Quotas list. Other CPU types do show up, such as “committed_C3_cpus” and “committed_C2_cpus” but not “committed_C4a_cpus”. Since it doesn’t show up I have no way to request a quota increase for it. I have the permissions to view and request increase for quotas.
Why is it not appearing and what should I do? The region (europe-west2c) has C4A compute engines available, as I am already running 2 of them. Thanks.

Please look for the following quota name with the VM_Family diamention
CPUS_PER_VM_FAMILY
Thanks

Thanks Vinoth. It is specifically the commitment quota I need.
I have the CPUS_PER_VM_FAMILY quota (dimension: vm_family: c4a) already (value 24, current usage 6). However this does not allow me to create a CDU commitment. When I try I get the error:
Creating commitment ‘commitment-20250326-162248’ failed. Error: The COMMITTED-C4A-CPUS-per-project-region quota maximum in region europe-west2 has been exceeded. Current limit: 0.0. Metric: compute.googleapis.com/committed_c4a_cpus.
It is the COMMITTED-C4A-CPUS quota that I need, but it does not appear on the Quota page at all.

Did you happen to figure this out? I am running into the same issue for COMMITTED_C4_CPUS.
Hi Kevin
After waiting for a few weeks/months, I noticed that some of the other missing committed_*_cpus started to slowly appear in the list. I think they have been rolled out, perhaps regionally, bit at a time. The C4A and C4D ones have now been added to the list, however at the present time I cannot see the C4 version either I’m afraid. If you have a support contract with Google Cloud then they may be able to sort it for you, otherwise it’s probably a waiting game.
James.
Thanks for the information.
