My app has had a lot of bloat as I’ve developed it over the years. I set about, a little recklessly, deleting some tables / views, and along with that: attempting to rename a couple of tables.
I have known that renaming tables has to be done carefully because any mismatch will cause problems. So I renamed the tables in appsheet, and then also in google sheets.
After a half hour of deleting old unused tables and cleaning up the resulting broken references, I ended up with errors. One table, which had had changes to structure in the previous hours without being regenerated, which got renamed and resynced, acted up. I think that trying to rename the table while the columns were not matched may have led to this.
Appsheet swore that the table had 32 columns but that appsheet showed 29. No problem, I reverted the table and no joy. No matter what I did, appsheet still claimed 32 columns. I did try and rematch the table by reselecting the worksheet and table in settings, as I found mentioned on forums.
So I reverted both the app and the worksheet back to their prior condition before my destruction. Now, no matter what I do or which version I load, I get Error 400: Something went wrong, can’t save changes, try reloading the page.
I can make some small saves. I can delete tables and add tables. But as soon as I try to regenerate ANY table, I get this error. Something got really out of wack and I can’t work on the app at all now.
