A database column deletion followed by a table regeneration caused a fatal schema mismatch. The app definition file crashed mid-generation, and version 1.000144 is now permanently corrupted (“is not runnable”).
Because the app definition is corrupted, the AppSheet Editor throws a 404 error and an infinite loading loop. I am completely locked out of the UI and cannot access Manage > Version History to perform the rollback myself.
App Details:
App ID: b55a8968-0c98-455c-af9e-1bd0c2606a51
Here is the Audit Log capturing the crash on AppStart:
“Errors”: “App ‘b55a8968-0c98-455c-af9e-1bd0c2606a51’ version 1.000144 is not runnable — please contact the app creator.”,
“AppDefinitionChanged”: true,
“Result”: “Failure”
}
It doesn’t even recognize me anymore… I tried to copy. Copy are stucked, spinning endlessly, and unable to delete them. I don’t know how to get rid of this copies that are not working and can’t be deleted. And I don’t know how to fix my corrupted file now…
I’m sorry for asking that. I feel stupid. But I tried to contact support through help center in appsheet and my related Google workspace but I don’t know how to contact them.
Starting June 1, 2026, AppSheet support for Workspace Admin creators will transition to Google Workspace support to provide a more tailored experience.
And the reply of Worspace Support:
I can only provide support for Google Workspace products. Since your question is about AppSheet, which is not a part of Google Workspace, I am unable to assist you with this request.
