I am able to create only 9 active users using Cloud Identity and am unable to create additional users. How can I increase the user quota or create more users without purchasing Google Workspace licenses?
You should be able to allocate up to 50 free identity users. New accounts often have a reduced limit. Try reaching out to Workspace support and asking for the limit to be increased.
And how is it possible to start? Since when I trie to add the cloud identity it always ask for workspaces and there are no free tiers.
Have I to activate the workspace for a time to get startet with cloudidentity and then cancel the subscription to stay free?

Sadley, when im in the cloud, i dont find the way, how to create users.
I want to create users for our cellphones, since new users allways need a new number, and that is not possible in a small company.
But All i found was, that an paid Workspace is needed.
for excample, when i try the āidentityā part of cloud, it starts ALLWAYS the setup with the 3 steps, but keeps stucked in that process even if all is done.
so i really dont know how to do that.
And Google also should have at some point a huge problem, When every number is once used, you cant use it again, but the numbers are redeployed, no new users could be createdā¦
IDK im really helpless at this point and create accounts with generic names and give the accounts further to the next person since we cant affort to pay for workspacesā¦
If I remember correctly, for each Workspace licence, you get 50 Cloud Identity Free licences.
You may not be assigned them automatically, but as Brett said, contact Google Support and ask them to help you with it.
