Unable to Disable SSL in a "On Prem" (self-hosted) Looker 21.10.15

Hi.

I am trying to disable SSL (temporarily) at my On Prem (self hosted) deployment of Looker (v21.10.15)

I have followed the instructions documented at:

https://docs.looker.com/setup-and-management/on-prem-install/looker-startup-options#making_startup_options_permanent

In my $HOME/looker/looker-startup.cfg file

–no-ssl

This did not work. SSL is still enabled.

I then modified the $HOME/looker/looker file to force the PROTOCOL to ‘http’ – and still on looker startup – SSL is still in place.

Appreciate some insights and assistance to disable SSL on this On Prem (self hosted) instance.

OS: Red Hat 8

Looker: 21.10.15
