This disk is being restored from a snapshot.. takes loooong time

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I accidentally deleted a project on Firebase that is interconnected (something I didn’t know) to the Google Cloud console.

Fortunately, the project is not deleted but it is a deletion request that takes effect 30 days later and can be canceled. So I canceled this request to delete the project, and the elements that make up the project (database, files and VM) gradually came back.

I consequently restarted the VMs and in the evening everything was back to normal.

However, a user account at Google in the evening connected and deactivated all the VMs.

And this morning I tried to restart the VMs but without success, it seems that the associated disks are being restored from a snapshot and this operation seems to be going in a vacuum without it being possible to know where it is.

I checked the quotas, and the billing account everything seems to be in order. Do you have any ideas to clarify and resolve the problem?

The problem was solved on our side by changing the credit card of the billing account.

The strange thing is that there were no error messages regarding the payment and that the old credit card used was still valid for the following month.

I let you add an error message for those who could in turn encounter this same problem.

thank you
