I contacted support last week because Appsheet automations quit working for a few hours last week. It seems that in the process someone created a copy of my app. I am getting duplicate notifications now. One from my current app, and one from an older version of my automations, of which I have no access or control. I adjusted the times of all my automations to test this. Sure enough I get the notifications at the new updated time AND at the old scheduled time. I have gone back to support but they don’t understand the issue. Do you have any insight on how to tackle this?
Today, the notifications have started sending the wrong DeepLink. The navigation was linking to a different app then what is specified in my bots. Those automations USED TO use that link several months ago. It’s almost like they reverted to an old version of the bot. This was out of the blue. I did not change anything in the automations.
As for the duplicate notifications, that started on March 25. And shortly before that all automations quit working for about a day. I would suggest investigating any changes that developers have been making to appsheet automations over the last week, starting March 24.
Nope, it was never resolved. I got a few messages from support saying they were investigating then nothing for the last week. The issue is ongoing. I still get duplicate notifications for all scheduled bots.
That’s entirely typical of Support. I’m disappointed that @Jose_Arteaga and @Shourya_Tomar are also unresponsive. But, honestly, this is the level of support you should expect from Google.
My apologies as I lost track of this thread. I just checked and there are some notes on possible issues. I will contact the engineer tomorrow as soon as he is online to get further updates.
