Subject: Issue with Reset Button in Filter – Is This a Bug?

Hello everyone,

I’m currently experiencing an issue with the filter reset button in Looker Studio. When I try to reset the filters, they don’t seem to revert to the default values as expected. Instead, some filters remain active or don’t reset properly.

I’ve tried clearing my browser cache and refreshing the dashboard, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and could this be a bug?

Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

We had an issue with this yesterday as well with one of our dashboards. But, others that have a filter reset button (I assume you mean one you added, not the native one in the upper right) are working fine.

Our data source is a blended data source (Google Sheets) where one sheet is an Access Control List (using this one to Filter by Email and it is the left part of the blend). I wondered if it had something to do with the blend, or with the Filter by Email…does your source use either of these?

I did find this bug report, and added my info to it, but we do have plenty of Reset Filters buttons that DO work, so I"m not sure what the issue might be.
