Hello, I am trying to build a graph using expiration dates. If I try and use a heat map using pivot table or even a simple table you can’t use expiration dates correctly on the metric. It does not allow you to change the metric to date. Only numbers which doesn’t work . Same with stacked bars, you can get the date correctly inserted on the y axis and the location on the x axis cuz the x axis is number only not letters. Anyone have any ways to tell me how to create a heatmap showing expiration dates? I need to show when a property is expiring within 18 months and then within24 months and so on and it’s impossible on looker studio. I’ve watched all the youtube videos and nothing shows expiration data.
I have just tried your scenario using expiration_date as a column and product_id as a row, the count being the indicator for a heatmap using pivot table with heatmap and it works.
What errors are you running into and how does your data look like?
