Speech-to-Text API: Qwik Start is configured incorrectly. Trying to connect to the VM instance via browser SSH gives this error message:
”SSH authentication has failed
In order to debug, please analyze the sshd logs on the target machine using the serial console. Reading the recent serial port output may also be helpful.”

Some zone/regions are facing SSH authentication problems across different labs.
Its important whoever facing the problem, escalate with details including region/zone, so that support team can rectify faster.
Send a mail to support@quiklabs.com with details of Lab name with code, Region, Zone , screen shot of error message in PDF format.
Mean while try to start lab again and complete lab.

You can check your Game badge by navigating “View badges” section in your login page.
Every month 10 Arcade games are uploaded with access code on different dates. you can earn 11 points. In addition to 10 Arcade games , from 20th Feb 25, Work Meets play ( real-world challenges) introduced, Its uploaded around 20th of every month and has validity till month end. Read - Coming Soon: A New Skills Boost Arcade Game! post by Yugali for terms and conditions.
Each game has different time period to complete. Always check for “Game badge” by navigating “View badges” section. If Game badge is found , you are have completed “Game”.
Note: In a game , you can notice {REQUIREMENT] against each lab. only these labs you need to complete. Support team will remove {REQUIREMENT] option ,if they find lab has some issues or even when update lab with new content/code.
You need to complete remaining labs in that particular Game badge and check for Game badge.
You earn points based on “Game badges” . Game badge information is shown in “View badge” section in your login and same information is shown in “Public profile” . This is the main reason you need to enable “make profile public” .
In September,
Skills Scribble(monthly special game ) - valid till 16th Sep 25, 11"59PM IST) - 2 points
certification zone game will be uploaded after monthly special game end date.
Basecamp, L1,L2,L3, Trivia Wk1,2,3,4 are valid till 9/30/25, 11:59 PM. - 1 point each .
Complete Trivia games first. Each game has three labs and one Q&A. For Q&A , after answering questions, keep it open for 5 mins and then only click “End”.
Check Arcade | Google Cloud Skills Boost for all Arcade game updates. Scroll down ,you can call see completed games and pints against each game . You will get an idea.

After completing many arcade labs, I did not see incoming credits, but see depletion of credits . I am not able to see, where are these credits gone.
My credit use history shows 0
After getting skill badges, how/where can see received points in my account?
When I use the labs, it shows NO COST at the top, but I see credit deduction after completion of labs. How do I know more about this?

Arcade October games (Basecamp, L1,L2,L3 Trivia Wk1,2,3,4 are uploaded on 2nd October 2025.
Since last week of September, learners are receiving details about Arcade games by an e-mail. Always check in “All Mail” as few mails are found in Promotions/SPAM.
You may receive these e-mails after one or two days after updating Arcade website (Arcade | Google Cloud Skills Boost)
Few labs of October has be solved using CLI commands . After starting lab , CLI with SDK interface will open automatically .

Arcade games displayed Arcade Facilitator Program are only counted for Facilitators Cohort 2 , So October games are not counted towards facilitator milestones.
If you meet criteria of Arcade and Trivia games for specific milestones and and if you are short of skills badges and lab free courses , you can complete skills badges and lab free courses till 6th October 2025 11:59 PM (IST)
