I am looking for a way to send an automated email to a customer upon creating them a booking within the calendar view on appsheet.
I have looked at the bots and I can see a way to send an email after a particular action to a predefined email address. However, I can’t figure out how to send a confirmation to a new user who isn’t already on the bots list.
The process looks like this.
Customer phones me up and reserves an appointment on the calendar. They provide their details, including email address. I reserve the appointment at my end and click save. I want an email to automatically send to the customer to confirm the details of their appointment,
I am not saying that the above is incorrect but I didn’t understand it.
The solution I used was to click on BOTS> then + to add a new bot > (one of the suggestions was) when a new event is created send a notification.
I clicked on this suggestion. And upon clicking send a notification (in the middle pane) some further options appeared on the right of the screen. From there I chose email.
If you’re saying that you figured out what you need and it’s working now, then that’s great.
