Select a location directly on the map

Hi,
I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the mouse to select a point on the map linked to a “Position” field (LatLong) and then save it.

Yes, but not exactly like that. When creating a new record in the map view of the table, if it’s configured to add entries, the system itself generates a map view by creating a Longitude - Latitude field. You can drag the pin to the new point, and upon releasing it, the system generates a new record at that location.

So in conclusion, modifying an existing point is not feasible…

Yes, it’s feasible; in the record’s editing form, on the small map associated with the coordinates field, the pin appears to jump around. You can grab it with the mouse and move it to another location.
