Scheduled Dashboard Failed to Send After User Email Change

I’m trying to understand if changing the schedule owner’s email could be the reason a scheduled dashboard failed.

A scheduled dashboard delivery failed with the error: failed [Script timed out – retried], the same day I changed the mail. Based on Looker documentation, Script timed out errors are typically related to Chromium rendering (long-running queries, cache expiration, custom visualizations, or tiles not signaling completion). However, in this case the same dashboard renders successfully when run manually and only fails when triggered by the scheduler.

Can a change in the schedule owner’s email address cause scheduled deliveries to fail?

I thought it might be the case if the schedule ran before the new email address was verified.

I think you could absolutely be correct. That’s an edge case for sure, where the schedule was changed to a new email address that isn’t yet verified, so I could see it not having a specific or helpful error message.
