Revert/Fix the new Dataset UX due to lack of readability

The new dataset UX is full of wasted space for me. The name of files that make up a dataset are truncated to uselessness. As far as I can tell, there is no modifying this layout. Am I missing something?

Hey,

Hope you’re keeping well.

The new Looker dataset UX layout changes aren’t configurable at the moment, so there’s no built‑in way to revert to the previous view or adjust column widths. For readability issues like truncation, the best path is to submit product feedback directly from the Looker interface via Help > Send Feedback, which routes to the UX and product teams. If you need more immediate clarity when working with datasets, you can use the Explore view or the API to list full file names without truncation.

Thanks and regards,
Taz
