Friends, I continue with the POS, in this case in the “Sales” view. It turns out that I want to achieve that, if I enter the view I would like all the quantities in the menu (that are going to enter the cart) to return to zero, that is, if I leave the view and enter again, all the quantities must return to zero.
Remember that I am not editing the form, since I manipulate the quantities through action, that means that you cannot select “Reset On Edit” expecting it to work.
It will help to know what type of view you are referring and a bit more about how you are entering various quantities on that view.
Perfect. The view is Deck type, it contains all the available items from the restaurant’s menu. When the user enters the sales menu, the name of the dish appears, the number of items to add and the corresponding actions to increase or subtract the quantity. A cart also appears if the quantity is greater than zero. However, it may happen that someone else wants to enter the POS either from another PC or online. What I need is for the amount to always be reset to zero according to the user who enters. I don’t know if this is possible or not (it is not vitally important either) but as a UX it seems optimal to me. I leave you an image so you can see it.
Thank you.
In general I believe , yes you are correct that it will be substantially complex to implement it. Someone else may have better idea. I believe such requirements depend more on overall app design and may need more insights into app design which may be outside purview of a community discussion.
