I’m trying to copy my app (option on the My apps list) to have a version on which I can test safely.
But I get:
Request cancelled: took too long to process. Fetching data from table...
How do I deal with this problem?
Any workaround?
I had a similar problem with copying an app that had a lot of images. You can unselect make a copy of the data, but that will create a new app that’s linked to the existing spreadsheets, so be careful.
You’ll end up with two apps editing the same sheets. Then you can manually make copies of the sheet, and link the new app to the copied sheets.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to make a copy of the app with it’s own empty sheets. You either copy everything, or link to the original data source.
