Relationships doesn't show

I have 3 tables Contacts, Companies and Tasks. They are all many-to-many related with help tables and each help table has reference to the main tables. They are set up identically.
Now, when I enter the record-entry view of the Contacts, it shows both add-button for Companies and Tasks.
Then, when I enter the record-entry view of the Companies, it shows only the add-button for Contacts.
And last, when I enter the record-entry view of the Tasks, it shows no add-buttons.
Any help or pointers is highly appreciated.

Hmmm… hard to diagnose like this.

You say everything is setup identically, yet the function should be identical as well.

Typically I find that if something isn’t behaving like I think it should, and everything is as it should be, perhaps something is NOT set as you’re thinking?
(This happens to me ALL the time; I’m constantly hitting up support@appsheet.com about something… only to discover it’s me confusing one similarly-named column for another or something. )

With the following setup:

  • Companies table
    • Company-Contacts (connection A)
    • Company-tasks (connection B)
  • Contacts table
    • Company-Contacts (connection A)
    • Contacts-Tasks (connection C)
  • Tasks table
    • Company-tasks (connection B)
    • Contacts-Tasks (connection C)

All with “Is a part of” turned on

The following is what you should expect to see inside the form:

  • Inside the Companies form, you should see a New button for
    • Company-Contacts
    • Company-Tasks
  • Inside the Contacts form, you should see a New button for
    • Company-Contacts
    • Contacts-Tasks
  • Inside the Tasks form, you should see a New button for
    • Company-tasks
    • Contacts-Tasks

Thanks, I tried to rename all the relationships and columns just to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
When I go to the detail view, all the relations are showing, but as I open the form for edit, their visibility is as mentioned above.

I think there might be something amiss in the platform, a client reached out to me today about something similar - and when I check everything it looks okay.

I’m going to reach out to support@appsheet.com - I will let you know if it’s something widespread.
