Im still having this issue but for some people it seems to have been resolved?
For my reports the connection to appsheet is dead on the report side. if i add a new data source from any appsheet view or app is connects perfectly, shows me all the fields i have but as soon as i leave that view and try use any of those fields looker studio says “No available fields”, this is a nightmare given that Looker no longer shows me how i set up these charts and just shows everything as invalid. We now have many reports fully broken, some of them are considered by the client to be business critical.
I would connect directly to the google sheet hosting the data but this would involve setting up many sperate calculation fields as most of my data shown in these charts targets vitual columns. It would be an almost unreasonable amount of work to set this up given that the connection to appsheet should just be working.
Do we know if this issue will be fully resolved anytime soon?
