Problem with data visualization

Hi, I’m using series charts to measure data over time. But if I use filters and only data from one day remains, the data disappears from the chart. My goal is to show at least one point when only one day’s data is left. Do you know how I can do this?

Hey,

Hope you’re keeping well.

In Looker, most time-based visualizations expect at least two data points to render a continuous series. When filtering down to a single day, the chart can collapse if there’s no time range context. You can work around this by adjusting the visualization settings under Plot > Fill Missing Dates and enabling Show Null Points so the chart will still render with a single timestamp. Alternatively, expand your filter to include an extra day and let Looker display nulls for missing values, ensuring your single-day data remains visible.

Thanks and regards,
Taz
