Potential Bug: Appsheet merging cells in Google Sheets

Hi guys, i may have come across a potential bug. Our app writes back to a Google Sheet but is merging columns in some entries with on reason I can see.

In some instances the cell being entered is text (USEREMAIL() to be precise), in others the value is from a drop down list.

The only common factor (maybe a red herring) is that the values being entered (in both cases) is more than 30 characters? Not sure if that’s the issue.

Would you please share more information from your case.. like printscreens from the gSheet, details from your column definitions etc.

Simple check in your sheet to see whether ‘wrapping’ is set for the column that looks merged. Set it to be Clip and your values will not bleed across to the next column.
