PostgreSQL Connecter Issues

Hi Community,

We have a PostgreSQL DB configured as a data source for several Looker Studio Dashboards which was working without issue for many months. On Friday June 28th, this connector stopped working. No changes were made on our our end and connections to this DB have been verified as operational via third party tools and linux / psql.

Output: SSL connection (protocol: TLSv1.3, cipher: TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384, bits: 256, compression: off)

I have provided Feedback as the help article suggest but received no reply.

Frankly, I am stumped. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hey jiminy_lumox,

I have been experiencing a similar issue with my PostgreSQL connections. In my case, the error is intermittent. Sometimes the looker studio can display my data, but in other cases it can’t.

The error displayed is:
Unable to connect to Host: The connection attempt failed.

I don’t know what to do, because I already double checked my firewall rules, number of active connections, database host hardware use, config settings and everything appears to be correct. =(
