Population of initial value not working

Hi Friends,

I have a workflow with an action that populates the table below. The action assigns a value to the field ‘Card’ (see below)

The problem is that the fields I marked with the arrows aren’t populated. They all remain empty. They all have an initial value expression.

If I create a record manually, select a card, these fields get populated correctly.

Any idea why this is not happening via the workflow?

My guess would be that, while the Card column may have a value, that value isn’t a valid key column value of the referenced table, or the Card column itself is not configured to reference the intended table.

Hi Steve,

I ended up calling the action directly instead of triggering it via the workflow and it works. Same action so this might be a bug.
