Pivot Tables Not Loading for Viewers in Looker Studio

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with pivot tables in Looker Studio. When editors (including myself) open the dashboard, everything loads correctly. However, when someone who is not an editor accesses the dashboard using the shareable link, the pivot tables do not load—only the other components appear.

I also tested opening the dashboard in an incognito window without logging in, and the pivot tables did not load there either.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there a specific setting that needs to be adjusted to ensure that pivot tables load properly for viewers?

I am having the same issue. The Pivot Table works for editors, but will not load for viewers.

I am not sure this will help, but the issue was with sorting by a dimension not on the pivot table. When I switched it to a dimension that was on the pivot table, people could see the pivot table. Here is the post in reference to the fix that helped me.
