We want to try Partner Interconnect so that our Shared Drive performance gets improved inside of WorkSpace. Considering they are different products, will that help us at all?
Also : We have already puchaced the Partner’s connection, but I’m unsure what we need to do to finish the configuration.

So what I can capture from your question is:
You want to interact with your shared drives ↔ Partner Interconnect ↔ Your GCP Project VPC ↔ Private Google Access ↔ Google DC
I don’t think Partner Interconnect work for GWS Product. For GCP services it is possible to do it with Configure Private Google Access for on-premises hosts but this particular method requires:
Enables API access to most Google APIs and services regardless of whether they are supported by VPC Service Controls. Includes API access to Google Maps, Google Ads, Google Cloud, and most other Google APIs, including the following list. Does not support Google Workspace web applications such as Gmail and Google Docs. Does not support any interactive websites.
The only workaround can I think is (but I’ve never tried it), you need to create a VM in GCP that act as router (ofc you need a Public IP or Cloud NAT). You then redirect all traffic in the On-Premises to IP address listed here https://www.gstatic.com/ipranges/goog.json to that VM. Therefore all traffic to GCP Endpoint goes into Partner Interconnect and Internal Google Network.
