The control field don’t propose to order the list. Only option is record count, I just want to order by value or the label (as it is the user displayed information)
Looker’s native parameter controls currently don’t support manual reordering of static list values in the UI. If you need the values sorted by label or value, the workaround is to define the parameter values in your LookML with the desired order, or source them from a query that uses an ORDER BY clause. For a static list, you can explicitly set the order in the allowed_values array in LookML rather than relying on the Explore control. If this is a feature you need in the UI, I recommend submitting feedback via Help > Send Feedback in Looker so the product team can consider adding drag-and-drop or sort-by-label options.
My list of items is long and I’ve to add new values, and there is no way to reorder than removing items and add them back
a “simple” drag & drop from the UI would do the job…
