Parameter control field can't be sorted by values

When creating a parameter with list of values, there is no way to order them.

The UI can’t let you reorder the list in case of you want to add a value.
a drag and drop to reorder would be great

The control field don’t propose to order the list. Only option is record count, I just want to order by value or the label (as it is the user displayed information)

Hey,

Hope you’re keeping well.

Looker’s native parameter controls currently don’t support manual reordering of static list values in the UI. If you need the values sorted by label or value, the workaround is to define the parameter values in your LookML with the desired order, or source them from a query that uses an ORDER BY clause. For a static list, you can explicitly set the order in the allowed_values array in LookML rather than relying on the Explore control. If this is a feature you need in the UI, I recommend submitting feedback via Help > Send Feedback in Looker so the product team can consider adding drag-and-drop or sort-by-label options.

Thanks and regards,
Taz

My list of items is long and I’ve to add new values, and there is no way to reorder than removing items and add them back :frowning:
a “simple” drag & drop from the UI would do the job…
That is Xmas period: I can still ask :stuck_out_tongue:
