Can I scan a Number without a Barcode?

Just want to weigh in here that we have 5 digit barcodes and it works great to just search the number. Obviously not as easy when a barcode is 10 or more digits of course.

If there is a lot of demand for OCR, it may be possible (just more complicated than something lke a barcode scanner)

I know this post is a little over a year old but I am exploring OCR currently and came across a company called Anyline, they have an SDK and support IOS, Android, Cordova, Xamarin, Windows and React. Not sure if this something that can be integrated with Appsheet.
