OAuth Verification Stuck Due to App Name Mismatch and Missing Trust & Safety Email

Hello Google team,

I am requesting assistance regarding my OAuth verification.

Current status

  • Branding has already been verified and is marked with a green checkmark.

  • Data access review is currently pending developer action.

  • The Verification Center instructs me to reply to an email thread with the Trust & Safety team, but I have never received such an email. I have checked Inbox, Spam, Promotions, Trash, and All Mail.

App information

  • App name configured in Google Auth Platform → Branding:
    Indian Music Guru

  • Homepage:
    (URL Removed by Staff)

Issue reported by the reviewer

The reviewer indicated:

The app name shown on your OAuth consent screen does not match the app name on your home page.

However, the Google consent screen currently displays:

(URL Removed by Staff) wants to access your Google Account"

instead of:

“Indian Music Guru wants to access your Google Account”

Since the consent screen UI is generated by Google, I do not have control over the text displayed there.

I have already updated the homepage to clearly describe the purpose of the application and ensured that the branding configuration contains the app name “Indian Music Guru”.

Could someone please:

  1. Re-send the Trust & Safety email thread, or

  2. Re-trigger the review process, or

  3. Confirm whether the domain shown on the consent screen is causing the mismatch issue?

Project ID: (PII Removed by Staff)

Thank you for your assistance.

Hello Everyone!

I have found the best way to do this is to make your app internal instead of external and use it via company emails only!

Thank you!
