OAuth Display Name nowhere to be found

Hi,

I received this mail:

Under the Google API Services User Data Policy, your OAuth Display Name must accurately represent your app’s identity to users when requesting access to their data.

To fix any issues, please update the display name on the OAuth Consent Screen configuration page of the Cloud Console. Make sure your project accurately shows its true identity to Google users.

Problem is there’s no such thing as display name on the OAuth Consent Screen, see for yourself:

I’ve checked everywhere else and my name seems congruent.

I have no clue what to do now, thank you for your help.

Best regards

Hi @dracolead ,

Welcome to the Google Cloud Community!

You may edit the display name by following the steps below:

  1. Head to your Google Cloud Console.

  2. Search for APIs & Services > OAuth consent screen.

  3. Above the Publishing Status, you will find your Application, click on EDIT APP.

  1. Here, you may edit your application name that is shown in the consent page

  1. Click on SAVE AND CONTINUE below the page.

I hope this answers your question. You can contact Google Cloud Support to further look into your case. Thank you!

That’s what I did before, my name is congruent everywhere I have no idea what’s going on.

@dracolead does your App name have a Google-trademarked term in it? I am getting the same vague rejection and suspect its because the term “GA4” is in my app name.
