I seem to be running into the same OAuth verification issue that many others in this forum have encountered over the past several weeks.
I submitted my app for approval on 8/5/2026 and later that day it was flagged with the following:
“The app name shown on your OAuth consent screen does not match the app name on your home page.”
I confirmed that the app name matches exactly in all of the following areas:
- The tag (leads with the exact app name: “Tailor — …”)
- — exactly “Tailor”
- The web app manifest (site.webmanifest) — both name and short_name are exactly “Tailor”
- (URL Removed by Staff) JSON-LD structured data — both the Organization and WebSite entities are named “Tailor”
- The header logo (alt=“Tailor”) and visible page copy, including the footer (“© 2026 Tailor”)
- The homepage URL, privacy policy, and terms of service links on the consent screen all resolve correctly on the authorized domain
I have also since updated:
So that it’s present there as well. These changes are deployed and live on the home page now.
Like other users here, the verification step says that I should reply to an email thread with the Trust and Safety team, but like other users here I have not received any email (I’ve checked spam/junk on all developer contact addresses) - so there is currently no way for me to move forward with the process. Could a team member please manually trigger a re-review or clear the flag?
Project Number: (PII Removed by Staff)
App Name: Tailor

Thank you for the help!
