OAuth branding verification stuck - "home page URL not registered" despite Search Console verification (vercel.app)

Hi,

My OAuth branding verification is stuck with the following error:

“The website of your home page URL (URL Removed by Staff) is not registered to you.”

What I have already done:

  1. Verified ownership of the exact URL-prefix property in Google Search Console:
    (URL Removed by Staff)
    Status: Ownership verified (using the HTML meta tag method).

  2. The meta tag is correctly present in the <head> of the homepage:

    <meta name="google-site-verification" content="en14B8T4ksTr7A8DRLQktq9UzEYfyOalus4HuynRreI">

  3. The same Google account that owns the Google Cloud project is the verified owner in Search Console.

  4. Application home page in Branding is set exactly to:
    (URL Removed by Staff)

  5. Authorized domain is correctly set to:
    your-life-story-jade.vercel.app

  6. I have clicked “I have fixed the issues” → Proceed multiple times over the last days, but the error remains.

Project ID: (PII Removed by Staff)

This appears to be a synchronization issue between Search Console and the OAuth branding verification system (I’ve seen several similar reports with vercel.app domains).

Could the Trust & Safety team please manually confirm the domain ownership and unblock the branding verification?

You have to get a real domain and approve via dns record for the verification to work and its unlikely they will approve domains that are .vercel.app etc
