OAuth brand verification stuck in instant-rejection loop — findings provably false, checker appears to not refetch

Project number: (PII Removed by Staff). Brand verification repeatedly fails within seconds with “Your home page does not explain the purpose of your app” and “The app name ‘The Fudger’ … does not match the app name on your home page.”

The configured home page is (URL Removed by Staff)— a pure static HTML page (no JavaScript) that returns a direct HTTP 200 with no redirects. Its raw HTML contains The Fudger (exactly matching the consent-screen name), a multi-paragraph description of the app’s purpose, and privacy/terms links matching the console configuration (URL Removed by Staff). curl with a Google user agent confirms all of this is in the served HTML. robots.txt allows all crawlers; the domain is Search-Console-verified.

We have changed the page content and the registered URL across multiple resubmissions; the identical findings return near-instantly each time, which suggests the automated checker is serving a cached verdict rather than refetching. Could someone trigger a manual review? Happy to provide any evidence needed.
