Feature AppSheet apps for desktop users (Preview)

The new desktop design, currently in preview, is optimized for desktop browsers, presenting a more complete view of information with a consistent organization and structure. The new desktop design lets users navigate their apps more easily and access information in context, and provides an efficient way to edit existing records without losing context. The legacy desktop design, enabled by default, provides an experience similar to the mobile and tablet device.

The input pop up window still appears on top right corner in my app. Should it not be in the middle?

@Fabian_Weller @peterson @Denzil_Snyman Hello we had to rollback shortly after deployment yesterday so you should be able to see the changes after the next successful deployment. Sorry for the confusion!

The height should automatically update based on the number of fields.
Right now, we are wasting a lot of space, which is not very intuitive.
Desktop is handling this just fine

I thought the same. It is too big. it doesn’t make any sense in my case, because I have only one field in input form but it occupies the whole screen. Strange!

We changed the height to match what we’re currently doing for enum dropdowns, but this is good feedback! We’ll look into updating the height and post another release note when the change is out.
