Need to link pdf to images.

I am creating an app that instructs users on how to build Lego sets. Using this app, you will see an image gallery of Legos in the main view. Upon clicking the image, you will be directed to the detail view of that Lego set. Now, what I need is that, when I click on an image in the detail view, the PDF linked to it should be opened instead of the image itself. Can it be done? I would appreciate if you could provide instructions.

I believe clicking on image itself to navigate to the document will not be possible. Image columns have a different “on click” default behavior of displaying a larger or smaller size image depending on mobile or desktop view.
