Names of DataSources to Cloud databases do not provide much information

References to cloud databases are named by AppSheet as:
Data Source: database-1, database-2, … ,database-9521

This numbering scheme is user-dependent not app-dependent.

This means that whenever you want to connect an AppSheet app to a certain cloud database, you have to remember (or somehow navigate) to see what does that number refer to. What the @#%! does database-567 refer to? Is it the accounting database or the users database?

Is it possible to name these differently? can we have an alias of some sort?

While we can name the data source itself in ‘My Account > Sources’ (e.g., ‘Accounting Server 1’), the internal references often default to database-X, which makes it difficult to quickly identify the correct connection, especially when working across multiple apps or managing many data sources.

You can rename these, but the process is… stupid.
You click into it to rename, then you have to re-enter all the same information exactly as you did when adding the source the first time.

Yes, that is why I think an Alias will solve the nuisance.
