My map views are very bare

Hi all
My map views are very bare which makes it difficult to visually place a location. Is there a setting that can help?

You could change the default map type of the view to Aerial, this would provide the satellite imagery and more visual landmarks to reference from.

I also just disabled “Hide points of interest” in the map settings.
