My GCP Trial started with zero quota for Projects and I can basically do nothing

I tried to play around with GCP and was happy to get a $300 credit from Google to evaluate the products but I cannot create a project and doing anything requires a project. Even filing a support case needs a project. So, basically I can do nothing and I cannot even reach Google for support. I asked for a quota increase, even for a single project, and it gets denied immediately.

Has anyone had success resolving the issue?

My billing accounts don’t have any outstanding bill. I’m also a Pro Google Boost Skill subscriber, if that helps.

Hello @Amir1 ,

Did you get any error during project creation ? Would you be able to describe your steps which where taken during project creation attempt ?

I cannot create a project since I don’t have any quota.

Steps:

  1. Open https://console.cloud.google.com
  2. Click on Create or select a project
  3. Click on New project
  4. See error page in regards with project quota
  5. Click on Request increase. Fill in the form. Submit and receive an email saying the request has been denied.

Hi @Amir1 ,

thanks for screenshots. What can I advice, is to speak with Billing Support. Regardless of the support level and payment option (Trial or PAYG) all users have billing support out of the box.

PS: Anything is happening, if you click “Manage Resources Page” URL?

The Support Page link leads to a page that needs a project to be selected, and here’s the catch-22.
