Moving up from Paid Tier 1

Hi,

Hoping to get a little bit of insight into how people are upgrading from Paid Tier 1 in AI Studio to Tier 2 & 3. I have definitely accumulated and spent more than the threshold amounts that used to be published but I am not seeing any way to “update” or “upgrade” in the AI Studio settings section.

Specifically, I have a billing account attached to the project. The billing account has accumulated more than $250 of spend in the last 30 days and the account is up to date in terms of payment.

I am wondering whether I am doing something wrong?

Same problem for us. We are stuck in Tier 1 with a valid Billing account and multiple invoices already paid during the last few months.
No button for “Upgrade” to tiers 2.

In some cases, Google Cloud reviews usage before enabling higher tiers, so it can take a little time after hitting the spend threshold. I’d recommend checking the “Quotas & Limits” section in your project settings or reaching out to support to confirm your account is eligible for the upgrade and see if any manual step is required
