Is there a way to allow more “display as primary” actions?
I seem to be limited to only 4.
The app is used on large tablets so What looks to be a mess in the app preview is not so bad in reality.
Yes, overlay actions ( now called as primary actions) are limited to 4. You may want to take a look at the below discussion thread. If it is too long, I could share my suggested solution in a nutshell. My solution was mainly for primary actions in the detail view. I also suggested another one for primary actions in summary views based on CONTEXT() functions.
But please be aware that since the solutions are workarounds, the user experience will be a tad lesser than a user experience with any original built in feature.
