We have a private cloud with Apigee and are considering using Drupal based dev portal. Is there a procedure for migrating content between different environments eg. dev to QA, dev to prod, etc.?
I am a Drupal newbie and could not find anything on the web that, fully, describes what I need.
rsync + database export/import comes to mind as a possible solution, but I see issues such as avoiding config files and the list of folders/directories that would need to be rsynced (/var/www/devportal?).
Please, keep in mind that I am a Drupal newbie when answering the quesiton.
