Thanks for this. This is a good addition. The team working on Appsheet development and management makes sense and is now grounded in reality. They’re introducing genuine enhancements unlike before. Keep up the great work, Appsheet team!

I believe the option for appsheet admin to transfer the selected app from original owner to other have been available for a long time, not really new. I just tested through the new admin console UX. However, I would say this is a risky deal. To transfer the app with Google Sheet as a data sources (most of AppSheet apps do have Google Sheet as data source) , we need to make sure the subsequent owner account can access to those data source before the transfer is invoked.

With the scenario where the new owner does not have access to the data sources, but I managed to “transfer” the app from previous owner to the new owner. However, the transffered app was broken as new owner is not able to access to the data sources. It should be more secured the transfer operation itself should FAIL if the new owner does not have access right to ALL the app’s data sources.

To make the story worser, after this failure to happen, I tried to push the app back from the new owner to the old owner. however, I could not find the name (account) of the old owner from the dropdown.

It looks pretty premature function for now, and dangerous to touch upon.
