Data cannot be updated or added to the Excel Spreadsheet if someone has the spreadsheet open on his computer!
This is standard behavior actually.

@MultiTech_Visions it might be beneficial for users to simply search the https://help.appsheet.com page which @Steve regularly updates before posting anything here. Sometimes it might be even quicker to find the solution there compared with the time for writing here, posting and waiting for a reply, explaining etc.etc. And I believe no any Official Channel chime in is needed for this post either.
